Card scheme specific transaction ID required for subsequent credential-on-file payments, delayed authorizations and resubmissions.

Mandatory: CredentialOnFile – initial false – unscheduled MIT / recurring

TransactionId is a value used with 3DS1 payments. Pls. ensure that you are prepared for 3DS2 payments where schemeReferenceID is returned instead.

Common notes on TransactionId:

  • The TransactionId is completely different than the TransId:
    • the TransId is provided by you to identify a request sent by you to Computop Paygate
    • the TransactionId is provided by an external service provider (like credit card schemes / providers, PayPal, PPRO, ...)

Credit cards:

The TransactionId is a reference returned by card schemes or external CC providers to identify a credit card on their side.

  • (warning) with "MsgVer=2.0" (i.e. used to initiate a payment with 3-D Secure 2.x - including fallback 3-D Secure 2.x -> 3-D Secure 1.0)
  • without "MsgVer=2.0" (i.e. do not apply for 3-D Secure 2.x)
    • the TransactionId is returned
    • you will use RTF-parameter in combination with TransactionId for recurring use cases
