About ACI ReD Shield

General information about ACI ReD Shield

 is integrated into the ReD1-Gateway which guarantees access to ACI ReD Shield – an online system for real time fraud prevention with immediate decision-making (accept/suspicious/decline) for eCommerce transactions based on regulations which are administered by a ACI ReD Shield risk analyst.

The transactions submitted to the  are automatically checked for fraudulent activity by ACI ReD Shield before being processed. Depending on the result from ACI ReD Shield and the configuration for a "suspicious" response a transaction is either forwarded to the acquirer for authorization or declined due to possible suspicion of fraud or authentication is requested via 3D Secure.
